  8. operating system command or can be called as a subroutine.  Opt-Tech Sort can
  9. process any size input files.  Up to 20 key fields can be specified, each
  10. field can be of different data formats and can be sorted in ascending and
  11. descending order.  It supports ASCII or binary files with fixed or variable
  12. length records and can process many field types.  Other features include
  13. producing record pointer files, record selection, and record reformatting.
